💙 Say hello to Waves - this piece was inspired by Yemaya, an orisha (deity) of the Santeria & Yoruba religions. Yemaya is considered the Goddess of the Oceans & has a strong and protective energy. This design pays homeage to her by including the colors blue & white, pearls, cowry shells, silver (in the lotus flowers), & the number seven. If you look closely, you will find 7 pearls in the center of the waistbead. The number of pearls represents the seven seas that she is associated with. Yemaya is said to help in matters of fertility, self-love, emotional wounds, and healing work. Lapis Lazuli accents this design to promote serenity. 💙
